Collaborate 2019 was another success for the Oracle-Quest community, and San Antonio was a great host for the well-attended event.
There was a definite theme to the conference this year – achieving digital transformation by extending the capabilities of JDEdwards.
The keynote from Lyle Ekdahl showcased five customers who are adopting some of the new features available, primarily Orchestrations, Mobile applications, and Continuous Delivery. And as we’ve been seeing, customers continue to upgrade to 9.2 at an aggressive pace to take advantage of all these new features and functionality.
ERP-One had a strong presence in San Antonio this year, with seven presentations, all of which will soon be available on the Insights section of our website.
Topics we covered this year included:
- Lease Accounting uncovered
- Finance UDOs adapting your business processes
- Pinal County Security case study
- JDEdwards x64 – are you ready to upgrade? (Co-presented with Clayton Seeley from Oracle.)
- Agnico Eagle and mobile work orders
- Continuous Delivery, what you need to know
- Live Demo Tools 9.2.4 which launched at Collaborate
Speaking with the Oracle product team, vendors and customers, we felt a real sense of excitement around JDEdwards. Many customers are taking advantage of the new functionality as part of their digital transformation, and it is inspiring to see all the different ways customers are extending JDE.
We anticipate a similar theme as we prepare for JDE INFOCUS in August, with a deeper-dive into capabilities of from the latest Tools release. In the meantime, see our demonstration of the latest Tools 188.8.131.52, read about the highlights here, or drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
